So the actual size in pixel is 985 x 769. When I print it with konqueror or kuickshow, I end up with a printout which is bigger than 149.94 x 117.06 mm. It looks like it simply disregarded the image resolution and printed it as it was on screen, with the screen resolution. That's a quite annoying problem, as I'd like to print several images at their defined size without modifying the file and loosing data, by reducing the image resolution to my screen resolution. It looks like two persons using different screen resolution would have a hard time sharing images of fixed size and expecting them to produce the same printouts...
