There are multiple notations for ER diagrams, primarily differing in how cardinality \
and participaction is drawn. The link to smartdraw uses "crow's feet" notation, while \
the link to uni-hamburg uses the basic notation without cardinality notation. Dia \
uses a subset for ER notation which is described in "Fundamentals of Database \
Systems" by Elmashri and Navathe, ISBN 0-201-53090-2. There are good examples at \
section 3.5 page 57. There are also EER ("Enhanced ER") which has notation for \
specialization and categorization (section 15.1.4, page 420). Sample chapters for a \
