It is definitely not fixed.
I use KDE 3.4 RC1 as mentionend above.
If I try to set a default start up app I have to select it from combobox > remove the \
tick from checkbox and set it again before saving. If I only select another app and \
save it still start the previous app and highlight it in combobox as well. Checked on \
three installations.
