Summary: Wish: have konqueror load openoffice.org 2 plugin
           Product: konqueror
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: nsplugins
        AssignedTo: staikos kde org
        ReportedBy: nathan toonetown com

Version: 3.3.92 (using KDE 3.3.92 (beta2), Gentoo)
Compiler: gcc version 3.4.3 20050110 (Gentoo Linux 3.4.3.20050110, \
                ssp-3.4.3.20050110-0, pie-8.7.7)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.10-gentoo-r7

Openoffice 2.0 has a plugin for mozilla/firefox/netscape which will allow you to open \
word docs (actually, any document that openoffice can open) within your web browser.

however, this plugin won't load in konqueror - even though I think it should (it's \
just a netscape plugin, I think...)

The plugin is found in the openoffice installation directory under \
program/libnpsoplugin.so.

The only thing I have tried so far is adding <openofficehome>/program/ to my scan \
list and rescanning for plugins, and copying the plugin into ~/.mozilla/plugins - but \
neither of those resulting in getting the plugin loaded. I don't know how to find \
out any debugging information - if you let me know, I'll try it out.
