This mouse droppings problem has occured several more times in files that I did not \
have visible and had not touched during the current editing session.  I did not click \
the middle mouse button to cause the problem.  There is some other way that the text, \
which was not the contents of the clipboard the past several times, is getting \
inserted in source code files.
