I just noticed your comment about what happens when you omit -q from the command and \
that reveals your problem - please don't use -q when reporting errors. If anything \
you want to use -v for that to get more information!
Although the actual crash is the same as the other bug I mentioned the real problem \
here is the general one that you can't valgrind the JVM without hacking valgrind \
because the JVM will keep respawning itself. See the last few entries on bug 69508 \
for details of the current problems running the JVM under valgrind.
