It might be useful if the KDE notification system could have a system tray icon that would show a list of \
previously received notification messages.
Maybe it would also be nice to add the possibility for applications to show a message in balloon-style, \
near the systray icon of the KDE notification system. Applications that currently crowd the systray with \
their own icons (email notifyers and such) could use this in stead. The message in the balloon could be \
prepended with something like:
"Message from application '<application name>':"
and add a clickable link in the balloon saying 'Configure <application name>...' which shows the \
configuration dialog of the application.
One more idea: The first time that an application ever sends a notification message to the user, the KDE \
notification system could display a more elaborate dialog saying:
"Application 'Mail Notification' just sent you this message: <message>. Would you like to receive more \
messages like this in the future? (Yes/No)"
This last idea might help people that would normally never attempt to customise notifications.
