It might be useful if the KDE notification system could have a system tray icon that would show \
a list of previously received notification messages.
Maybe it would also be nice to add the possibility for applications to show a message in \
balloon-style, near the systray icon of the KDE notification system. Applications that \
currently crowd the systray with their own icons (email notifyers and such) could use this in \
stead. The message in the balloon could be prepended with something like:
"Message from application '<application name>':"
and add a clickable link in the balloon saying 'Configure <application name>...' which shows \
the configuration dialog of the application.
One more idea: The first time that an application ever sends a notification message to the \
user, the KDE notification system could display a more elaborate dialog saying:
"Application 'Mail Notification' just sent you this message: <message>. Would you like to \
receive more messages like this in the future? (Yes/No)"
This last idea might help people that would normally never attempt to customise notifications.
Allright, enough ideas for now. Maybe you find some of these useful...
