If you compiled it from sources, yes, simply apply the patch that Sven sent.
It has to be applied to koffice/filters/kword/wordperfect/import/parser.cpp,
as indicated. Then type "make" in koffice/filters/kword/wordperfect/import
and then "make install" (probably as root).

But apparently you used SuSE RPMs, in which case you have to get the SRPM,
add the patch, rebuild the RPM.
