           Product: kdesu
           Version: 1.0
          Platform: Mandrake RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: bastian kde org
        ReportedBy: hariseldon99 gmail com

Version: 1.0 (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: Mandrake RPMs
Compiler: gcc-3.3.2-6mdk
OS: Linux

Running Linux Mandrake 10.0

Had no problems with default installation of KDE

 Upgraded to KDE 3.3 Beta-2 (using mdk 3.2.92 RPM's)

 The following problems arise:

Mandrake uses certain scripts (Perl) to call certain binaries that render GUI's for \
configurational purposes, such as "drakconf" (Mandrake Control Center), "rpmdrake" \
(RPM frontend) etc. If I log in as root (using "su") in a terminal emulator & run \
those scripts, they work fine, but whenever I an them as a normal user "kdesu" \
usually came up and take the root passwd & then start the appli.

After upgrading KDE, I get the following error whenever I try to run those apps as \
normal user:

kdesu: Unknown option '--ignorebutton'.
kdesu: Use --help to get a list of available command line options.

Since I did not upgrade any of those scripts it is highly unlikely that the problems \
lie there, so logically it is most likely that the problem is with "kdesu" or \
"kdesud" themselves, as this did not happen before I upgraded.
