Hello,

Thanks for the suggestion.

It was decided against readwrite editing in Konqueror for many reasons (imagine the
mess with the toolbars, the problems with back/forward and unsaved changes, 
the inconsistency between editing an existing file and creating a new file, etc.).
Not everything can be done from konqueror :-)

I think the solution to your wish is adding a tabbar to koshell ("KOffice Workspace")
to be able to edit documents with tabs to switch between them. I'm almost sure this 
is already covered by another wishlist so I'm closing this one.
This would also require a kind of "multitab bookmark or history" in koshell, though.
