Summary: "Email Images" feature requires Thunderbird
           Product: digikam
           Version: 0.7
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: digikam-devel lists sourceforge net
        ReportedBy: adets idsk com

Version: 0.7 (using KDE 3.3.2-1.2.1.kde, Fedora Core release 1 (Yarrow))
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 20031022 (Red Hat Linux 3.3.2-1)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.22-1.2199.nptlsmp

"Email Images" feature (from the "Images" or context RMB menu) doesn't work if \
"Thunderbird binary path" setting is incorrect (doesn't point to existing file). It \
is logical in case if mail agent is set to Thunderbird - but it is not working for \
other mailers too (I'm using KMail) - appears a messagebox with the massage about \
incorrect path.

There is a workaround - set "Thunderbird binary path" to some existing file (probably \
doesn't matter what file, it should just exist and be readable) and "Mail agent" to \
correct value - KMail in my case. In this case path is correct, check succeeds & \
digikam successfully starts KMail.

Expected Behavior - "Thunderbird binary path" should not be checked if mailer is not \
set to Thunderbird.

BTW, there is no such setting to other mail programs (or why it exists for \
Thunderbird?).
