Does this happen on all C++ projects, or just a specific one?
I had tried just the one console application, I just tried some others and I am now \
seeing different behaviour, now KDevelop crashes on startup.
I have quite KDE and restarted and still now KDE fails to start here is the Crash \
report:
Using host libthread_db library "/lib64/tls/libthread_db.so.1".
[Thread debugging using libthread_db enabled]

What build system type is it?
Standard C++ console type application
Do you have any symlinks in the path?
No.
I'll just reboot and check behaviour. I would normally suspect my system with issues \
like this, however this is a virgin SUSE 9.2 install + online updates + KDE 3.3.2.
