Summary: google search box should clear automatically when
opening a new tab
Product: konqueror
Version: unspecified
Platform: SuSE RPMs
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: konq-bugs kde org
ReportedBy: nilesh iitb ac in
Version: (using KDE KDE 3.3.2)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc 3.3
OS: Linux
Many times, we select the phrase that we want to search and then paste it in google search box of \
konqueror (by middle clicking). But since there is no provision to have a clear button for search box \
(like we have for address bar), I suggest that searchbox should clear itself automatically when I open a \
new konqueror tab/window. Because, then I will simply be able to press Ctrl+T, paste search phrase in \
google box and click enter.
