Uh, that's actually libxine being unable to load a plugin if I'm not completely \
mistaken. Try uninstalling xine_artsplug from kdemultimedia, restart artsd and see \
what happens (that plugin is not needed for wav, mp3 or ogg-playback so you can at \
least test without it being installed).
