------- Additional Comments From Heiko.Falk udo edu 2004-11-17 08:40 -------
Kandy 0.5 now supports variable phone book lengths. Immediately after establishing \
communication with the mobile phone, it selects the SIM phone book by default using \
AT+CPBS="SM". Hereafter, it performs an AT+CPBR=? in order to obtain the number of \
entries available in the phone book. Hence, the magic number of 150 phone book \
entries is no longer hard coded in kandy. It's been tested using a Siemens ME45 and \
C65.

For these Siemens phones, the SIM phone book always starts with number 1, going up to \
e.g. 150. It seems that other manufacturers have phone books starting with numbers \
other than 1, and here kandy may still be failing. But I can't test it actually. \
Re-submit this bug again if you still encounter such a problem.

TODO: Support for phone books other than SIM still needs to be fully integrated into \
kandy.
