Your server installation seems pretty busted.
The .mailboxlist is indeed listed as a folder by the server so you have to
check with your server admin what's wrong with that.
This strange message is definitely in the folder so there is no kmail bug
either. The only bug in kmail is that it doesn't show the .mailboxlist
folder but I don't think thats important. Did you try to list only
subscribed folders (show only subscribed folders in the account config)?
