the wierd files I submited are the printing results using the cvs digikam version, \
not results concerning my initial complain ;-) With a fresh Mandrake install results \
                are not so bad hopefully, but not as good as they should be ... 
- I'll post another scan to be more explicit
- I'll do other tests using another distro
