It is a dupe of bug 89394 (see this part of the patch)

Basically, in digikam, you have a list of albums, and when you want to archive an \
album on the CD, the contents of the folder are copied recursively. But in KimDaBa, \
you can have a picture in your top directory, and if you select that one, your whole \
collection of pictures will be copied.

Maybe we can have a kipi feature like CopyFolderRecursively to handle this well in \
each application.
