           Summary: Use minicli in Quick Launcher applet
           Product: kicker
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: jfirebaugh kde org
        ReportedBy: edulix iespana es

Version:            (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from:    SuSE RPMs

The Quick Launcher kicker applet is very useful, but it's not even half as powerful \
as "Execute Command" dialog is. In the quicklauncher applet you can just execute \
commands, but in Execute Dialog, thanks to minicli, you can do a lot of stuff like:

"kcalc" or "kCALC"	-> launches kcalc
"bugs.kde.org"		-> launches a konqueror window to bugs.kde.org
"en2es:hello" 		-> luanches a konqueror window to \
http://www.wordreference.com/es/translation.asp?tranword=hello "es2en:hola", \
"en2fr:world".. "gg:google search"
"ggi:google images search"
"wp:wikipedia search"
"2+2"			-> outputs 4
"help"			-> launches help system

[etc]

I guess that reusing the Execute command dialog and using minicli it shouldn't be \
more than trivial to implement this in the quick luancher kicker applet?
