Summary: KMail: T-Online accounts doesn't require username and
                    password
           Product: kmail
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kmail-devel kde org
        ReportedBy: aliakc web de

Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Compiler: gcc 3.4.1
OS: Linux

I don't exactly know whether this is a bug or a wish because only KMail behaves like \
this.

When logged on via DSL on a T-Online account it's not needed anymore to provide a \
name or password to get the emails from their pop3 accounts. This works in Evolution \
where you simply leave the password field empty (it also works if you leave name and \
password empty). Unfortunatly KMail requires proper authentification with name and \
password. Therefore I would like to ask whether it's possible to leave name and \
password empty even in KMail but do receive the T-Online emails. Due to security \
reasons I don't like to have my T-Online authentification be saved in my \
homedirectory since the authentification does more than simply accessing the T-Online \
pop3 account it also authenticates my DSL connection to the internet.
