Summary: KChart should start with a wizard not with a default 3D
                    bar chart
           Product: kchart
           Version: 1.3
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: kalle kde org
        ReportedBy: marc_heyvaert yahoo com

Version: 1.3 (using KDE KDE 3.2.1)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux

When you open KChart as a stand-alone application it shows a sample 3D bar chart.

I think that the general idea is that you can start building your own chart by \
customizing the sample. However it would be better to have a wizard when you start \
the application, perhaps we should put this wizard as an option in the standard open \
file dialog that every KOffice application uses.

Yes, that's perhaps the way to do it...When the program opens it should display a \
dialog box similar or identical to the general KOffice stuff, the Tabs for existing \
and recent files can be maintained, but the 'new' tab should include a wizard or at \
least templates for all the different kinds of maps that can be created.
