Summary: Allow contacts to be selected in Find Messages/Message
                    Filters
           Product: kontact
           Version: 1.0
          Platform: SuSE RPMs
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: molkentin kde org
        ReportedBy: sniffy rogers com

Version: 1.0 (using KDE KDE 3.3.0)
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
OS: Linux

It would be very useful if the Find Messages search dialog had an option to select a \
contact from my Contacts instead of just an email address. Contacts generally have \
more than one email address, email addresses change, users of Kontact relate to \
contacts better than email addresses (eg. Its easier to identify John Smith then it \
is fuzzybear_1237 hotmail com)

What I think would be ideal is if the To/From drop down in the find messages dialog \
had an option to either: Allow me to pick a contact from my Contacts beside the text \
box; or to have an addtional option in the second filter to have something like 'Is \
This Contact'.

It should be made available anywhere a person's email address could be selected. I \
only know of the Find Messages dialog and the Create Filter dialog
