I doubt the situation could cause a freeze --- see the description in the first post. \
The freeze could have been caused if qtclipboard was less-than-perfect in updating \
the timestamp that the xclipboard uses to determine which clipboard actions are \
obsolete.
Still, both patches are good (the noblock is my favorite), and removes an annoying \
warning that cost me a full day of determining what was wrong with my additions to \
Klipper --- just to discover that the bug had existed all along :-/

it is a worrisome comment.
