I'm using SuSE 9.1 + KDE 3.3 final.
My motorola V525 (OEM version of V600) phonebook cannot be read in either.
Nothing happens when I click on read phonebook.
I think this is because the phonebook size is fixed to 150 (see
also bug 42172).
When I enter
AT+CPBR=? it shows:
+CPBR: (1-1150),40,18
This is not because it has 1150 entries but the first 1000 are empty
and it starts with 1001. The reason for this is: The first 1000 are
phone book entries stored in the phone but all my entries are on the
sim card. It definitely seems a bad idea to hardwire the
value 150 in Kandy. Why not use AT+CPBR=? to automatically detect
the range?
