------- Additional Comments From zorglub_olsen hotmail com 2004-08-23 16:39 -------
I have AA, iy usually works just fine everywhere. But the first tooltip shown when \
entering Kicker or a toolbar or an icon i Konqueror fileview _isn't_ AA. This has \
been so for me for a long time, with several versions of KDE, X, kernel, Nvidia \
driver and everything else.

Another place I just noticed this happening is Kmail. In the message editor \
(Composer), I can select various fields to be shown: CC, BCC, Sent-folder and more. \
If I enable CC (or another) a line is inserted into the toolbar, with the label "Copy \
to (CC):" and an input field. The words "Copy to (CC):" is very clearly _not_ AA. If \
I disable it and then enable it again, it _is_ AA. This is completely reproducible. \
But here's another thing I just discovered: If I have the non-AA "Copy to (CC):" \
shown and I move another window over it, it will become AA when it appears again. I \
hope I make myself clear here, it's a bit difficult to describe.

It seems to me to be some sort of race problem, where AA doesn't have time to kick in \
before the tooltip or text is shown. But I really don't know anything about how these \
things work, I'm only guessing.

I'm reopening this bug because I think Stephan Kulow might have misunderstood what I \
meant.
