Same here!
As said above Kget only starts from KMenu, and works fine afterwards.
Starting from Konqueror or command line crashes.
I also use gentoo linux and kde 3.3, qt 3.3.3.

I think this bug is rather grave. If you choose konquerer integration, kget crashes \
and leaves konquerer unable to download files. Furthermore there  is no obvious way \
of disableing kget anymore, so this leaves users unable to download files.
