Another patch
If anyone is getting sick of these - or not wanting them to be posted, let me
know, and I'll stop.
Changes in this patch:
Caches cover lookups - so it only happens once
Speeds up loading of juk
Shows the "image" icon as the cover column
changed the ordering of columns (having the Cover colum first caused sorting
problems I didn't want to mess with)
Automatic thumbnail generation. Now you only need to put a png image in
~/.kde/apps/juk/covers/large with the name Artist - Album.png and the thumbnail
will be generated automatically when juk starts. (You don't have to use that
hack script that I posted earlier)
The next step that I want to do is a context-menu option to download an image
from the web and it will automatically save it for you in the right place and
create the thumbnail (a simple covermanager). I also want to do a tooltip of
the actual cover image when you hover over the image icon in the playlist.
Man, I'm having fun! (This patch is against CVS Head - not against my last
patches...so you'll just want to do a clean checkout before applying them.
