I applied the patch mentioned in the kernel bugzilla page (comment #6) and recompiled \
my kernel.  Klaptop still gives me poor estimates of remaining battery time at first, \
but it does NOT automatically kick me out of KDE anymore.  This makes it useable \
again!  I hope this helps track down the cause of the bug...and provides people a \
workaround until the bug is fixed.
