I do not mean the flicker, that is in the html part. I mean the flickering in the tab row. If you have 4 tabs and add a new one, it is created instantly. 

Then the ugliness begins. To create room for the new tab, the other tabs are shrunk and move to the left. This animation is slow and ugly. It looks like a bug. If you add / close many tabs at the same time, it freezes my machine for several seconds.

Please optimize this. At least offer an option to remove the unneeded animation.
