if the option is useless as you say , you dont have to click on advanced all 
the time.

you have to see that alot of ppl use kopete diferently
( i myself use it for all protocols , yes , irc even , with no taskbar on 
desktop and alot of virtual desktops , you , i am sure , use it very 
diferently than me )

either way , this discussion is getting rather large.
