Good idea. Currently the Infobrowser shows an introduction on first startup.
Maybe a wizard is better, or we can just use both.

I disagree. The Collection is unusable on first startup, since it's empty.
Even if the wizard shows how to generate the Collection database, the user
might still choose not to do it. Filebrowser is the natural and most
straightforward interface to your existing music.

Besides, the default browser on first startup is the _Infobrowser_, not the
Filebrowser.

Yeah good idea.

This is already being worked on by mxcl. The code has been in amaroK for quite
some time, it's just dormant due to being unfinished. I suggest activating it
now, since this will motivate us to finish it.

Disagree _strongly_. There are many music formats which don't provide metadata
at all. amaroK caters to users of many different formats, like e.g. .sid
or .mod files. You can't really put them into the Collection.

Besides, our Filebrowser implementation is extremely capable and useful,
providing nifty features such as bookmarks and direct filesystem operations
(deleting, renaming..)

Fine with me. We're currently working on Musicbrainz support. This will be a
tremendous help for tagging.
