KMail asks for confirmation when a message is deleted immediately. We don't do
that for trash as the mails are not lost. If you don't get a confirmation
when you delete a message (aka shift+del) then you may have already disabled
this. Check your kmailrc (~/.kde/share/config/kmailrc) if you have the
following:
[Notification Messages]
NoConfirmDelete=false
If you have this, simply delete the "NoConfirmDelete" entry and you get it
back.
