Summary: left clicking the system tray icon should show or hide
the main window
Product: ksirc
Version: unspecified
Platform: unspecified
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: asj kde org
ReportedBy: elliott pdx edu
Version: unknown (using KDE 3.2.1, Mandrake Linux Cooker i586 - Cooker)
Compiler: gcc version 3.3.2 (Mandrake Linux 10.0 3.3.2-6mdk)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.3-4mdk
currently, when you left click the system tray icon, there's a menu that pops up with \
help on notify and a link to the configuration dialog. as it's already possible to \
get to the configuration dialog box by right clicking on the icon, it would make \
sense to change the function of a left click on the icon to show or hide the ksirc \
windows. this would be consistent with the way kopete, kgpg, kmix, knotes, kde wallet \
manager and kmail all work, to name just a few programs.
