Summary: Menu items could do with more vertical spacing
Product: kdelibs
Version: unspecified
Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: kstyle
AssignedTo: gallium kde org
ReportedBy: yatsu wanadoo nl
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
Click on a menu in a KDE app. Note the amount of vertical space between each menu \
item.
Do the same with any GTK1, GTK2 or Windows application. Note how there is more \
vertical spacing than in the KDE app.
Personally I think better vertical spacing is required, but I'd have a hard time \
convincing people why more is better - so take a good example from Windows and GTK ;)
The ".NET" style provides allot more vertical spacing than the other styles, but it \
feels like overkill.
Like the recently changed horizontal spacing for menu titles ("File", "Edit", etc..), \
this change would greatly improve the look of an expanded menu.
