This is almost certainly an ACPI issue rather than a KDE one - please have a look at \
the files in /proc/acpi/battery/*/state (and info) before you remove the battery and \
after you've put it back in - if the contents of these files stay in a bad state the \
problem is with ACPI, not with KDE (in that case please close this bug) - if the \
files look reasonable after the battery is pluugged please attach their contents to \
this bug - thanks Paul
