I marked this bug invalid, because you can't make Kate responsible for your problems \
hitting the wrong key. Change the action for the Comment shortcut.

You should only have a bug report cover *1* issue, please. If you have problems with \
the Comment function, please make a report for that, and provide some information, \
for example a copy of the file causing the problem, the mimetype, where to place the \
cursor for it to happen, information on your settings and what ever other information \
you can provide that can help resolve the problem.

Obviously, the developers doesn't experience problems using the Comment function, I \
personally use it all the time both comment and uncomment in various file types.
