Hello? One year and still unconfirmed?

This is an important usability feature... the newbie installs a new program (say \
xpdf), opens the start menu, and he is frustrated because he cannot find the program! \
Because it is hidden in, say, Office->publishing->xpdf.

And he must do an exhaustive search each time.

Windows xp has been having this for years... And the highlighting of new programs \
should be very easy to achieve.
