This is a problem of XFree86 that was shipped with SUSE9.0, the keyboard map has the \
mapping of the Win key broken (just running 'setxkbmap' breaks it as well). It works \
with normal login because some startup script explicitly uses xmodmap to fix it. You \
can perform this command ('xmodmap /etc/X11/Xmodmap') yourself e.g. from startkde.
