This is what happens all the time:

* open a konqueror window in filebrowsing mode.
* enter the URL 'smb:/'
* enter the local network (smb:/NETWORK)
* enter machine 'jack' (smb:/NETWORK/jack)
* enter dir 'documents' (smb:/NETWORK/jack/documents)
* press the 'up' button to jump to 'smb:/NETWORK/jack'
* press the 'up' button to jump to 'smb:/NETWORK'

Now something strange happens. Initially, konqueror lists all the hosts in the \
network, but after one or two seconds, the listing is replaced by the contents of the \
URL 'smb:/NETWORK/jack'. The URL in the location bar itself does not change. Every \
time this happens, I have to open a new konqueror window, because the current window \
fails to access anything. A fresh, new konqueror instance works ok.

I use Samba version 2.2.1a.
