After koffice's configure script told me that fontconfig was needed and giving a URL \
for the download I installed fontconfig 2.2.0, the latest stable release.

However, as the new fontconfig version does not use fontconfig-config but instead \
pkgconfig information. Hence, the configure script fails to see that it's available.
