Unfortunately I can't reproduce this crash (using KMail from current 
cvs).

Any possibility of coming up with a process someone else could use to 
reproduce the crash? Otherwise it will be very time consuming for me 
to try to debug the problem.

Maybe some of your .index files are corrupted. Also the stack looks 
corrupted after frame #5 in the backtrace, you might get a better 
backtrace by running within gdb and using 'run --nofork'.
