Summary: duplicated url dialog in mouse theme installation
Product: kcontrol
Version: unspecified
Platform: Compiled Sources
OS/Version: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: wishlist
Priority: NOR
Component: general
AssignedTo: molkentin@kde.org
ReportedBy: tnagy@eleve.emn.fr
Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux
For installing a new cursor theme, one would use the "Install new theme" button in \
the "Cursor theme" tab of the kcontrol mouse dialog. The buttons triggers a dialog in \
which the user is supposed to type the location of the new cursor theme.
If the user cannot find the location by hand, a message will warn him that the cursor \
theme could not be found, so he will have to retry. He is then supposed to use the \
dialog again, with a new blank line, and try the "open" button on the right of the \
lineedit to launch a kfiledialog, kfiledialog which will prompt him once again for a \
url.
The dialog "Drag or type theme url" should then be replaced by the standard \
kfiledialog straight from the first click on the "Install new theme" button. In \
addition, the drag'n'drop feature should be set on the listbox instead of to the \
dialog (which is a bigger drop zone too).
