Summary: Arts configure error message leads to *wrong* glib2
                    version.
           Product: arts
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: Compiled Sources
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: stefan@space.twc.de
        ReportedBy: khz@kde.org

Version: (using KDE Devel)
Installed from: Compiled sources
OS: Linux

Tried to build arts from current CVS.

Did not have the right glib2 installed.

./configure would tell me to get
glib2 from www.gtk.org.

This lead me to the wrong version: from reading www.gtk.org I found the directory
ftp://ftp.gtk.org/pub/gtk/v2.3/
with this file:
glib-2.3.1

That's the wrong one.

Using google I found this:
ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/glib/2.2/
whith this file:
glib-2.2.3

That's the correct one.

Perhaps we should change the error message shown by ./configure?
