After looking at the source I finally found out that it's possible to enable \
notifications about errors via KNotify. Which gave me:

The proxy configuration script returned an error:
ReferenceError: Can't find variable: myIpAddress

So it seems like myIpAddress [PAC-MIA] is simply not implemented. Still digging into \
this...
