------- Additional Comments From sebastien.laout@tuxfamily.org 2003-12-31 16:31 \
------- Hum, I've downloaded the last beta and what's I need isn't done !!!
Let's me explain better :

I have somtimes more than on CD per artists and, one day, I want to play all songs of \
an artist, or another, I want play songs of a certain album, or genre... JuK actually \
allow this practice, but we must use the advanced search engine and then create \
another more playlist... JuK aslo allow to have songs sorted per artist, albums or \
genre. But that's all : we have a long list of albums, but all albums of an artist \
are disparatly placed (by alphabetic order). In more, my file system is arranged in \
/genre/artist/album/track-title : it's very helpful but this sort is lost in JuK.

I would like to have an automatic playlist from collection, as the automatic "artist" \
or "album", but in a tree view like, and it will be mirror my sort of file system \
organization. So, when I want to play a special comic song, I browse :
/Collection/Comic/Donjon de Naheulbeuk/01 - Intro
And another day, I want to play Metal song, but I don't know which I want, so I \
browse : /Collection/Metal
and then I see all related artists (not ALL artists, but justs songs : comics are not \
listed, for example, idem as RAP, etc...). I quickly notice an artist and then open \
this "v-folder" and I see : /Collection/Metal/Linkin Park
So, I then can choose from two albums (NOT all disparate albums), and then I choose \
the old album or the new style album : /Collection/Metal/Linkin Park/Living in Texas
And then I play all this "v-playlist" all a special song !

Would be very cool and useful.
It isn't possible in the current JuK (in the beta, at least).
What we must do is to have more and more playlists, that we must create by the hand, \
and not in a tree view like.

Thank you a lot if you implement this helpful view.
