That is a very valid wish indeed.
I planned for some time to add features similar to printing to the HTML
export, that is possibility to show line numbers, optionally only exporting
the selected text. Hearing someone wish for that confirms the need for it :)
I cannot do that for KDE 3.2 because we have a feature freeze, but I will asap
after the release. Meanwhile, you can still print your selection to a PDF
file and open that with the latest versions of KWord to copy it. Yes, a bit
of a hazzle, but still possible.
