Hi, everyone,

As a follow up to my own comment #2 on this bug, I have written a little treatise on \
the whole subject of CSS "first-letter" embellishment as it applies various scripts \
in the Unicode Basic Multilingual Plane and modern typographic practices.

Although my little blog is still incomplete and heavily weighted toward those scripts \
where I have some knowledge, I am going to post it now for everyone's perusal.  I am \
afraid I may not have time to complete the research that would be required on a host \
of other scripts which I am not very familiar with.  So, although it is lacking in \
completeness, it is still better than nothing and will hopefully serve as a \
reasonable introduction to the subject for those among you interested in tackling the \
problem in a more complete fashion in the future.  It has some nice figures \
accompanying it too.
