This is related to recent additions to bug 21389.

kmail differentiates between ordinary mails and maillists - good.

  In this case:
  *	the sender (or the lists processor - it does not matter)
has defined that replies should go to the list.
  *	the user has issued command "Reply" (not "Reply to Sender")

but kmail decides that it knows better...

On the other hand:

If the mail contains no Reply-To field but a List

  * Then I agree that it should only go to the sender and not the list.

Waldo suggestion is good IMHO:
-----------------
If you want to be anal about this I then I suggest you create "Reply", "Reply
to Sender", "Reply to List" and "Reply to All". Put them all under a single
toolbar button (like the check-mail button) with a simple click resulting in
"Reply". Reply then defaults to "Reply to List" when a list-with-reply-to-set
has been detected and "Reply to Sender" in other cases. Oh, and you can add a
bunch of configuration options to specify how "Reply" should work.

And whatever you do, I suggest you do it right the first time (in KDE 3.2 that
is), instead of delaying it till a later release. There is really no excuse
for asking your users to put up with half thought out stuff for a whole year.
