           Summary: arbitrary expansion for URLs
           Product: kio
           Version: unspecified
          Platform: unspecified
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: NEW
          Severity: wishlist
          Priority: NOR
         Component: general
        AssignedTo: faure@kde.org
        ReportedBy: dstone@kde.org

Hi,
I was disappointed today to type 'db.d.o' in Konqueror and realize that it did not, in fact,
work. Using 'd.o', 'k.o', 'fd.o', everywhere is starting to take its toll, I think. So, stupid
feature request time - how about arbitrary expansion in KIO? Something like '(.*)\.d\.o$'
-> '\1.debian.org'?

I know this idea is cracked out and probably sucks - it was a very long night last night,
and I didn't sleep, either.

Cheers,
Daniel
